Picnic in the Bluebells – Wednesday 28th April 6:30pm


Bluebell Farmhouse Kitchen is delighted to bring to you an exciting Spring Event collaboration, with Liz Chatfield from Sylvia’s Kitchen, based in Hellingly and Liz’s son, James Chatfield who is a Michelin trained chef.

With our combined skills and knowledge, we are thrilled to be offering you a unique chance to enjoy our food, in the beautiful and spacious setting of the Bluebell Woods, here in Arlington. We will be creating picnics which have been lovingly designed and created to highlight local, seasonal produce at it’s best. This has been sourced by us and our connections with local artisan food producers, farmers and growers, for you to enjoy. The picnics will be for collection here at the Bluebell Farmhouse Kitchen, for you to take in to the woods and enjoy at your leisure. Existing COVID guidelines at the time will be strictly followed throughout.

  • Wednesday 28th April at 6:30pm
  • Should the weather be inclement on your chosen date, picnics will still be provided and should be collected from Bluebell Farmhouse Kitchen on your chosen date, for taking home for consumption
  • Please feel free to bring picnic blankets and your own drinks
  • We will provide crockery, cutlery and something to have your drinks in

Liz and I have been friends for over thirty years, having both been brought up with a farming (and love of cooking!) background, spending our teenage years in Young Farmers and then time together bringing up our respective families. Throughout this time, we have both have maintained and developed a passion for cooking and successfully set up our own businesses. Liz has passed down her cooking passion to her eldest son James, who is on a very exciting Michelin journey and career path.
